The BOOST Fellowship

The BOOST Fellowship envisions a world of purposeful people, who to serve Africa's needs for life sustainability, cultivating possibility oriented living byfostering the principles of entrepreneur intelligence and servant leadership.

Our DESTINY: to serve Africa's needs for life sustainability

Our CAUSE: to cultivate possibility oriented living

Our CALLING: to foster the principles of entrepreneur intelligence and servant leadership.

Our VALUES: The values that the BOOST Fellowship bases it's existence on are:

Community service - community service is continuous commitment by members of BOOST to behave ethically and contribute to economic development while improving the quality of life of individuals at large. It is giving back to the community.

Purpose - life is a process of discovery, a pursuit of purpose. For each person there is a mountain to climb, a race to complete and a temple to build. There is an unfathomable dept of possibility in human potential. Despite certain inevitable limitations, once we seize the opportunity to gain greater understanding of our purpose, and ourselves we will find that there is far more available to us in life than we ever possibly imagined.

Faith - faith is the substance that makes the journey of life possible. It is the belief that the work, which was begun in us, will be brought into completion. Whether a person's understanding of faith is anchored in a relationship with God or whether it is derived from a person's trust in self, or confidence in the community of humanity, faith has a potency and a vitality that is fundamental to our successful existence and to our ability to embrace the possibility of our future.

Hope - hope is the motivation that keeps us alive. It is that compulsion which is born from a desire for fulfillment in those meaningful things upon which our hearts are set, those things that do not corrode wit the passage of time. Such is the living hope, which we value, because it speaks of our belief that we have both the will and the way to accomplish our goals, whatever they may be.

Creativity - for BOOST, creativity is the art of generating novel and useful ideas and solutions from everyday problems and challenges. It involves the translation of our unique gifts, talents and vision into an external reality that is new and useful. We should allow Creativity to take place inside our personal, social and cultural boundaries.

  • Zimbabwe Allied Banking Group (Z.A.B.G.) aims to raise awareness on Entrepreneurship among small business owners. In particular, their key concern is that small business owners should develop such an awareness in the area that it will result in an independent and confident translation of entrepreneurship skills in enterprise building.  For this reason, they partnered with BOOST-SIFE to inculcate an entrepreneurial spirit within communities.  On the 10th March 2007, Six BOOST-SIFE teams will be competing for the ZABG Entrepreneurship SIFE Special Competition Award.  The competition is being held at the Mandel Training Center.  ZABG donated ZWD 50,000 per team.
